“Backups and Disk Cloning”.  Brian Riley discussed computer backups and cloning of hard drives.  Cloning is a neat way to be prepared to get your computer running again after a virus attack or hard disk failure.

“Nomination Search Committee”.  NNCUG needs a Search Committtee to prepare a slate of Officers for 2014-15.  If you are interested in serving on the Committee or running for an office, please contact Rob Mink, President, ASAP!

“October Photo SIG Meeting”.  The SIG will meet on October 8 at the Lancaster Community Library (LCL) to explore converting color images to black and white prints using Adobe Photoshop Elements.  Bring your laptop to follow along.  Also bring photos that you wish to share with the group.

“Windows 8 Corrner”.  How to shop at the Win 8 store using the Store application.

“WANTED – Computer Link Newsletter Editor”.  Bruce Mc Millan, Editor, is “retiring” as editor, effective March 1, 2014.   Editor wanted and needed for this fun job!

“New NNCUG Computer!”.  Brian Riley and Bruce Mc Millan set up t he “new” used Dell E6410 Latitude computer.  Now the NNCUG can run modern software!

“Newsletter Publishing”.  Guest speaker for the October 19 Membership Meeting will be Bruce Mc Millan, Computer Link Editor, who will show how he puts the Computer Link together from A to Z.  Learn what goes into this newsletter!

“Tablet SIG”.  The SIG will meet on October 15, at the LCL to discuss the Apple iTunes University.

“September 2013 Meeting Notes”.  What happened at the September Membership Meeting.
